Terri Lynn Recipes Pecan Spice Cake Trifle
This head-turning dessert is fit for a king! And our delicious Fancy Pecan Pieces are the crown atop this British-inspired trifle.
Ingredients
- 16 oz tub Whipped Topping
- 5.1 oz. box Vanilla Pudding Mix
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cups Canned Pumpkin
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 box Spice Cake Mix
- Oil, Eggs, and Water (see your Spice Cake Box for exact needs)
- 2 cups Terri Lynn Fancy Pecan Pieces (chopped)
Directions
- Make spice cake according to box directions (choose any pan size).
- Let cake cool and cut into about 1” squares.
- Combine pudding mix with 1c milk and 2c canned pumpkin and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. Let thicken.
- Assemble trifle by layering 1/2 the cake pieces, then 1/2 pudding mixture, then 1/2 tub Whipped Topping, then 1c Pecan Pieces. Repeat.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
